In de clip is Nancy te bewonderen in een little red dress met zwarte sandalen. Precies 10 jaar na haar eerste succes Ah W Noss schittert de Libanese zangeres als een Egyptisch meisje op een markt. Regisseur van de clip is Joe Boueid en de aantrekkelijke man is voormalig Mr Lebanon Ayman Moussa!

LASHES, NAILS, HUDA DOES IT ALL!

Huda Kattan is op weg om een breed merk op te zetten in het Midden Oosten. De Arabische schone die bekend is geworden door haar blog www.hudabeauty.com heeft na het lanceren van nep wimpers nu ook nep nagels! Met Huda Beauty Nails wil zij net zo succesvol worden als met de wimpers. Na maanden ontwerpen was afgelopen week de officiele lancering. De nagels zijn net als de wimpers exclusief verkrijgbaar bij Sephora in Dubai Mall ondanks de wereldwijde grote vraag. Kattan tourde vandaag in een bus in Dubai ter promotie van haar nieuwe project. I do visit a lot of blogs but only a few raise my attention. I can check out one or two pages or either visit the WHOLE blog if I really do like it. I like a blog and come back often visiting it for several reasons. Not because the bloggers have the latest branded outfit, the most expensive clothes or accessories, the most beautiful pictures or best designed blog. It can be simple and still remains in my favorite blogs list. For me, it’s all about identity you create, the way you interact with your readers, how you show your personality throughout an online window.  So let me present you a top 10 fashion & lifestyle Moroccan bloggers you need to follow, enjoy ! 

1)      You Are The Style : The first time I ever came across a fashion related blog made in Morocco was after watching this awesome and moving video of Youssef (known as Joseph) Ouechen taking part on a TedxCasablanca talk. His speech was so inspiring I decided to check out his work and I immediately liked it : wonderful pictures, mainly Moroccan streetstyle ones were all over his blog. Joseph also regularly collaborates with prestigious publications such as New-York Magazine and L’Officiel as a freelance photographer.

2)      Fashion Bakchic : This is, for me the best current Moroccan fashion blog. I find out about Sofia El Arabi’s blog while going through Joseph Ouechen’s work. Her whole blog is an invitation to travel, full of beautiful pictures, she has an awesome and unique style, mixing modern and traditional pieces. She created her own fashion line named “Bakchic” last year sold at Galeries Lafayette Casablanca and now available online, with unique pieces.

3)      Afaf and Marwa : Afaf and Marwa are two Moroccan sisters living in Casablanca sharing with us beauty tips and chic outfits on their common blog. A beautiful adventure which lead them to create their own fashion clothing line, including awesome Mahmoud Darwich t-shirts, white cotton and black quotes written in Arabic which makes them so unique and original, but also wonderful clutches.

4)      Le Guide de la Maghribia Actuelle : The Guide of the ‘Actual’ Maghribiya is a blog run by a real ‘joutiya’ (thrift) addict, she shares with us her lucky finds and is one of the few Moroccan bloggers using videos to make ‘hauls’. She also often posts beauty and make-up reviews.

5)      La Couleur du moment : Sofya is an architecture student sharing her time between France and Morocco, sharing with us amazing outfits she wears on the two banks of the Mediterranean sea.

6)      Mum in Casa : Well, as you guessed this blog is about a woman telling about her life as a mum in Casablanca, it’s more of a lifestyle blog where Siham shares with us toughts on books she read or places she visited.

7)      Ginger Chocolate & Honey  : Well, how can I talk about Moroccan bloggers without mentioning the amazing Lamia from Ginger Chocolate and Honey ? Her blog is a real city guide of Agadir, she knows this beautiful city very well and shares with us the best places and restaurants to visit while we’re here. Checking out her blog is a must if you’re going to visit Agadir !

8)      Hipster Square : Yasmine is  a blogger from Marrakech, a real shopaholic, sharing with her readers some awesome outfits.

9)      According to Hind : In her blog, Hind shares with us “911 tips” such as “5 ways to detox your mind” or “10 ways to be more creative” I find very interesting and useful. She also posts lvogs on Youtube, book reviews or travel videos.

10)   The Closeterie : It’s a common project of both Joseph Ouechen from  You Are The Style & Sofia El Arabi of Fashion Bakchic : they go into Moroccan or people living in Morocco’s interiors discussing their style and what influence them.

Khloe Kardashian weer verliefd?

Na maanden van ongeluk in de liefde lijkt het zusje van Kim Kardashian dan eindelijk gelukkig. Khloe was vier jaar gelukkig met basketballer Lamar Odom tot hij vreemd ging en haar ongelukkig maakte door drugs te gebruiken. De reality ster lijkt haar geluk te hebben gevonden bij rapper: The Game. Bronnen rondom de Kardashians meldde eerder dat de twee meer dan vrienden waren. Om het allemaal nog spannender te maken plaatste Khloe vandaag op Instagram een wel hele mysterieuze tekst bij een foto van haar en de rapper.. Zou het kunnen dat Khloe die nog niet van Lamar gescheiden is, verliefd is op deze rapper?

UPDATE: Khloe heeft de afbeelding van haar en The Game verwijdert... Het is overduidelijk dat zij een stel zijn.

Dounia Batma @ Rachid Show

Yesterday I saw 'Rachid Show'. Dounia Batma was the guest on the show. Rachid Show is a funny show. Rachid the presenter asks his guests all kind of questions. About fame, love and critisism. So the show started and it was immediately fun to watch. Miss Batma was wearing a black and white dress with Giuseppe Zanotti heels (without heel!). Appearing on a Moroccan show is important for her because some think that she has forgot her original roots. 



Fame
Rachid asked her what did change about her since her audition for Arab Idol. He was saying it on a funny way, he wanted to get an answer about her whole transformation. From plastic surgery till money. She laughd and said; 'Yes, my clothes changed'. He tried to talk about her surgery but she denied it by talk about other things. Rachid asked her if she was change from Moroccan girl to famous arab woman that  forgot her roots. Dounia said that she was still the same Dounia but now she has more responsibility.

Yes the topic were a lot of people waited for: LOVE!! Rachid congratulated her with her engagement. Dounia seemed happy and was very open about this big thing in her private life. I thought that Mohamed Al Tork was divorced from the mother of his child, Hala... But wait! It turned to be very  different. Mohamed Al Tork is still married, will stay married to Hala's mother and Dounia will be his second wife. 'The Islam gave the oppurtinity to a man to marry four so whats wrong with that' she said to Rachid when he told her that a lot of people did not understand why she was going to marry a MARRIED guy. Rumours has it that Batma want to marry Mohamed for his fame and connections in the music industry. 'Why do you want to marry him' said Rachid. 'He is going to wear traditional Moroccan men clothes at the wedding' she replied. Serious Dounia... Is that THE reason? I dont think so. Her wedding will be in a palace in Morocco. Dounia also met Mohameds first wife and she said that it all was good between them. Dounia is not happy about the issue that Moroccan female are homewreckers. She said that in this case there was nothing like a homewrecker involved. It was a decision of Dounia, Mohamed and his wife.

Plastic Surgery
It was maybe the third time that Rachid wanted to start about her plastic surgery and now he was commited to talk about it. He showed a picture of Dounia before and after. Ouch... she was not so spontaneous as before and was thinking. 'Did you get plastic surgery' he asked her. And again she denied it and she even swore. On the first picture you see Dounia when she arrived in Morocco after losing from Carmen on Arab Idol. On the second picture you see Dounia during a tv show long after her participation on Arab Idol. 'Why do you look so different on these two pictures?' asked Rachid. 'Well.. On the first photo I was very tired because I was just coming from the Arab Idol adventure' said Dounia. Yeah sure... 'what happened on the second picture' asked Rachid. 'On that picture I had make up on. Because of the make up my nose looks fixed. I did not do plastic surgery' said Dounia. Nose fixed because of make up? I dont believe that and even Rachid was not convinced about that one. Dounia denied that she fixed her body and face.

Critisism
'Do you read posts about you online' asked Rachid. 'No. I am not active on Facebook or other sites I just have Twitter' said Batma. On Facebook there is a person that made an account on her name: Dounia Batma Arab Idol. But thats not her at all! She is mad about all the lies that this person spread everytime he or she post something. Dounia also said that she dont care at all about what people think of her. She said that the hate gives her power to do better. And her true fans are that matter. 

Dubai
If she had to choose between Dubai and Morocco she would choose with no doubt for Morocco said the finalist of Arab Idol 1. But living thereis better for her career. The studios are near and the connections there are good for her career. Dounia has Moroccan friends in Dubai. She likes to sport, shop and relax with them. She is not homesick at all..

Lalla Soukaina is getting married

Lalla Soukaina is gettint married! Lalla who? Lalla Soukaina is the niece of King Mohammed VI of Morocco. Her mother is Lalla Meryem, the sister of King Mohammed VI. Lalla Soukaina Filali is a true beauty. With her green eyes and beautiful hair she is truly one of the most beautiful women of Morocco. We dont see her a lot but when she appears, she looks amazing. Soukaina is now 27 years old and studies journalism and communication in France. She has the beauty and the brains. We are not the only one who noticed that. Mehdi Regragui asked the King Mohammed VI to marry Lalla Soukaina. This happened in March 2013 and now its confirmed. Mehdi Regragui, owner of a computer company will be marrying the oldest daughter of Lella Meryem and Fouad Filali. When and where? We dont know yet.. If you are curious about Mehdi Regragui.. Its been months since Kim Kardashian gave birth to her baby girl North and the Armenian beauty is back to business. On her Instagram the beauty posted pictures of herself working and being silly with sissy Kylie Jenner. Kardashian was also spotted in Los Angeles with her new hairstyle and new body.
