He is a superstar. I dont think that he will be that normal boy from Palestina. From winning Arab Idol season 2 he went worldwide with his voice. I saw him live and I can tell you that its worth it! He can sing so good and he is so normal. I think that he can not believe the amazing life that he is living right now. He should enjoy it and keep singing! After winning the second season of Arab Idol, Mohammed Assaf became very popular. He is known by almost the whole Arabic world. People out of that world are getting to know him to. When he win the competition the world talked about it. The headlines were: 'Palestinian boy wins Arab Idol'. It is something big because of his background. The singer Shakira felicitated Assaf. Shakira who has a Lebanese father and Colombian mother, asked Assaf to perform with her during the FIFA Worldcup Soccer 2014 in Brazil. That would be a great experience for the talented singer cause he will be watched by almost the whole world. If Assas will do it is not clear yet. I hope that he will do it! Its because unite all the Arabic countries. Even there is war and so much drama in the Middle East. Arab Idol keeps us together. In the music we connect, the candidats are young and full of joy. Abdelkarim Hamdan (Syria) and Mohamed Assaf (Palestina) are the candidats that bring joy to their countries. Arab Idol is not a political game; its all about the music and the happiness in it.
