After winning the second season of Arab Idol, Mohammed Assaf became very popular. He is known by almost the whole Arabic world. People out of that world are getting to know him to. When he win the competition the world talked about it. The headlines were: 'Palestinian boy wins Arab Idol'. It is something big because of his background. The singer Shakira felicitated Assaf. Shakira who has a Lebanese father and Colombian mother, asked Assaf to perform with her during the FIFA Worldcup Soccer 2014 in Brazil. That would be a great experience for the talented singer cause he will be watched by almost the whole world. If Assas will do it is not clear yet. I hope that he will do it!
